The Power Of Handwriting: Heroes Worth Writing For
No doubt you’ve heard about Pentel’s National Handwriting Day promotion, “Heroes Worth Writing For” where we have asked people to handwrite a letter of thanks to the troops overseas. The letters have started pouring in and as we read them we’re picturing how they’ll be received by the troops. They’re sure to bring a smile to the heroes who are sacrificing so much to keep us safe here at home. Operation Gratitude will make sure the letters are received by our troops.
We’ve had letters from a 13-year old to an 80-year old who both express themselves sincerely and from the heart. We couldn’t be more pleased with our entries so far but we hope that you’ll take the time away from the busy-ness of the season to sit down and write a letter that expresses your gratitude and thanks in your own words and in your own handwriting.
You might even win a thank you gift from us. We’ll be picking five letters out of the submitted entries. The first prize is a $200 Visa Gift Card and $100 in Pentel products. The four runner-ups will receive a $50 Visa Gift Card and $25 in Pentel products. You can find the rules here.
Below are excerpts of some of the entries we’ve received so far. We’re waiting to hear from you!
