Random Acts Of Kindness – Spirit Of Wonder Wednesday

Hello Friends! We’re in the middle of Random Acts of Kindness week – February 14-20. Practice some random acts of kindness this week and maybe you’ll get into the habit of doing something nice for someone (for no particular reason) during the year.

There’s an artist in London who designs art for cards, books, and magazines among other things. Her name is Heidi Burton, and she posted some Random Acts of Kindness cards that you can use to download, print, and share. Thanks Heidi! Download here.

Here are some other things you can do:

1. Write a note and leave it for a family member, co-worker, or friend. It doesn’t have to be fancy – just a couple of words of appreciation will do! Try a new Pentel EnerGel pen for writing the note.

2. Help a neighborhood child with homework. Maybe you are a wiz at math and you know someone who is struggling. Be sure to take along a Pentel automatic pencil and some erasers!

3. Bake some cookies and leave them in your mailbox for the letter carrier.

4. Give someone a surprise. I always carry extra pens with me and when I see a cashier or waitress struggling with a pen I hand them mine and tell them to keep it. I love the look on their faces!

Some pens I carry to giveaway!

5. When driving be polite and courteous to others on the road.

These are just a few suggestions. Random Acts of Kindness is only limited by your imagination! Do something great for a stranger or for those you care about.
